Vapi is the manufacturing hub around which the GHCL foray in the value added Home Textiles segment is built.

The unit has state of art 96 wide width Tsudokoma Air jet looms to weave greige fabric. Further in Tamil Nadu, India, weaving capability of greige fabric on 400 Wide Width Sulzer Looms (340 cms) is available. The current production is in the thread count ranging from T-200 to T-800 in plain weave, Plain Sateen, Sateen Stripe and Dobby. The fibre mix consists of 70~80% Cotton and balance in Blends. Vapi Unit has the latest Zimmer Rotary printing machine comprising 16 colour way with a capacity of 14 million metres annually of 340 cms wide width fabric. The unit also has the testing equipment from Mathias for colour matching.

The Vapi unit has the latest state of art imported processing machineries from international leading machine suppliers to enable continuous dyeing and processing for 36 million metres annually. The technologically advanced processing capability enhances the value of the finished fabric by incorporating special finishes like Easy care, No iron, Water and Stain repellent, Wrinkle free and Bio-polish.

Our Cut and Sew facilities can cater to an annual production of 4 million Sheet Sets and 8 million pieces of Curtains. Other finished products include Duvet Covers, Comforters Shells, Pillow Cases and Top of Bed items. The finished products are exported to premium segment markets in USA and Europe.
