Mr. Anurag Dalmia is Vice-Chairman of the Dalmia Group of Companies. Born in May 1956, he completed his schooling from Modern School, New Delhi, which is amongst the premier educational institutions in India. He graduated from the Shriram College of Commerce, New Delhi. He is Director on the Boards of GHCL and Colwell & Salmon India & US. Further, he is a Member on the Governing Body of the Dalmia Centre for Research & Development Under his progressive and dynamic leadership, the Group has expanded into textiles, soda ash, healthcare, ITES and tobacco.

In his effort to promote cultural and humanitarian causes, Mr. Dalmia is keenly involved with the activities of the Dalmia Sewa Trust which has included the establishment of a research, training and rehabilitation center for children with Special Needs. As a member on the Board of the Dalmia Foundation, he takes personal interest in the setting up of educational institutions. This interest is also reflected in his being Member- Board of Governors, Jaipuria Institute of Management. He is the Joint Managing Trustee of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Sewa Sansthan, Mathura. Further he is Trustee of Hanuman Prasad Poddar Smarak Samiti , Gorakhpur under the aegis of which a cancer hospital is also run.

He is steering the Group to impact the changing scenario in a world driven by global responsibility, where business and commerce have to measure up to the national economic requirements but also the needs of the common man.
