Four Steps
is a Research, Training and Rehabilitation Centre for children
with Special Needs run by Dalmia Sewa Trust. Four Steps guides
special children through those initial shaky steps into individuals
who can hold their head high despite their disability. Based
on the premises that mental disability is a part of life,
Four Steps intends to empower children with special needs
to move towards integration and self-realization.
Since its inception in April 2002, the school under the
guidance of Ms. Jayanti Dalmia has been working towards
the integration of children with special needs. It aims
to synergize knowledge, resources and efforts to foster
the ability of every child to grow to their maximum potential.
Four Steps takes care of children with Mental Retardation
& associated conditions, Learning Disability, ADHD &
Autism, Down Syndrome, emotional problems, poor scholastic
performances and slow learners.
