Four Steps of the centre are:

• Early Intervention Service (Below 4 years): Emphasizes on skills like Motor, Language and communication, Cognitive, Social, Self help skills etc.
  
  
• Special school (4 + years): Emphasizes on individual curriculum planning and the teacher student ratio is 1:1 to a maximum of 1:4. The Focus is on practical learning outcomes and preparing students for life in the wider community.
  
  
• Pre Vocational Centre: Depending upon individual abilities, prevocational training is given to prepare the child to enter the world of meaningful occupation.
  
  
• Vocational Training Centre: Training on a particular vocation is provided after the child is ready for the skill. Four Steps is the only special school in Delhi to have family based vocational training for the special needs of the child like office management (computers-data entry and typing, photocopy, fax, receiving couriers and letters), Home Management (Cooking), Beautician Aid, Teachers Aid, Candle Making, and Card Making.
