Dalmia Sewa Trust initiated the asthma eradication programme in December 2002. Since then more than 400 camps have been organized extensively in western Rajasthan and Shekhawati region. The noble work which has been inspired by His Holiness Swami Krishnanand Saraswathi for the welfare of the mankind is no less then a virtue in itself. Living upto the dictum of His Holiness “Service to Mankind is service to God” Mr. Sanjay Dalmia initiated Asthma Eradication programme in Rajasthan. Mr. Dalmia’s vision behind the movement is to ensure good health for one and all by eliminating Asthma through alternative medicine.

The Asthma patients are treated in the camps after getting diagnosed through Spiro meter and then are given doses of Astha 15, an ayurvedic medicine which has been developed and marketed by Dalmia Health Care. Today Asthma patients are coming to these camps from other parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat as well. Permanent camps are also being organized at many places on the special request of people. The credit of the success of these camps undoubtedly goes to timely and proper diagnosis and thereafter regular intake of Astha 15 capsules and syrup.

Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar, most widely read daily have allied themselves with the Trust in the efforts to expand the reach of these camps to all the people. The campaign is very well received by the electronic media as well.

Various NGO’s and organizations like Bharatiya Sewa Samaj, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Mahavir International, Hanuman Sewa Samiti and many such organizations have also come forward in assisting the Trust. A number of eminent Gurus like Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati of Vedik Ashram, Dr. Swami Raghavacharya Vedanti Chairman of Rajasthan Sanskrit Academy and Swami Achaland Giri have joined hands with the Trust in this mammoth effort of total eradication of Asthma from the land of Rajasthan.
